Our very first virtual visit via zoom!!!! During Book Festival Week Cashel Library organised a virtual visit of the author Megan Wynne to our classroom. It was a wonderful experience and a first time for many using zoom. We learnt about Megan Wynne, she read an extract from her book and gave us some great types for writing stories.

After learning about Ireland's owls we made owls using clay and then painted them. Here are a few of our masterpieces!

Weaving Wellbeing

During the month of September we competed the programme Weaving Wellbeing - returning to school after covid. There were 6 main themes which allowed us to explore our past experiences of covid 19 and how it effected our lives, covid 19 in the present and then we looked to the future and the positives which came too. Well done everyone for great participation.

Our Rainbow Moments

Becoming aware of all the many positive moments in our lives over a weel. There were lots!

World War 1

After learning about World War 1 in history, we created these amazing war silhouettes. On the 11/11, at 11am we remembered all those who lost their lives during World War 1 and created poppies in remembrance to them.
