We are growing some Easter chicks in our classroom!!
it takes 21 days- we’re excited to see how many - if any - hatch out !!

At lunch time on March 21st Tom spotted a crack coming on one of the eggs…the excitement was unreal! Not long after another egg was seen to have a crack.
By the end of the day three eggs had a crack and were seen to be shaking!

Fours in total hatched out and are now thriving as you can see in the final few photos.
Everyone got to hold the chicks and we’re never without visitors from the other classes. The children named them Goujon, Nugget and Lucky.
