Kyle kicked off the first of ‘Teach the Teacher’ lessons. He presented to the class a lesson all about Tipperary Hurling much to the delight of his classmates.

Grace was next with her PowerPoint presentation on Diabetes. She explained her journey so far since discovering she had diabetes… showing the children how her pump works and why she needs it. She demonstrated how to attach her pump and allowed classmates to have a go. Grace also brought in her lovely teddies and her very cool Barbie doll who had her own insulin pump.

Lacy was so excited to show us how butter can be made.
She first shared some Fun Facts with us using her colourful posters. Next she talked us through the steps involved. Everyone got to shake the cream and once it had gone through the whole class what remained in the jar was the butter with the buttermilk separated from it.
Well done Lacy, such a great hands on lesson and everyone loved seeing the butter at the end.
